Neil Diamond has revealed Wild At Heart, the latest addition to his successful collaborations with producer Rick Rubin. The album was initially recorded during the sessions for Diamond's 2008 album Home Before Dark, which achieved Gold certification in the US. Diamond and Rubin's partnership began with 12 Songs in 2005, leading to the creation of Home Before Dark. Wild At Heart, a collection of nine new songs and an alternate version of "Forgotten" from Home Before Dark, will be released on May 8, 2026, in various formats.

The upcoming album is the culmination of Diamond and Rubin's creative journey, with Diamond expressing his satisfaction at finally sharing these songs with the world. The Deluxe Editions of 12 Songs and Home Before Dark have also been reissued with bonus tracks ahead of Wild At Heart's release. For the Home Before Dark sessions, Diamond collaborated with talented musicians like Benmont Tench, Mike Campbell, Smokey Hormel, and Matt Sweeney, creating a magical and enjoyable experience.
