Remembering Chuck Norris: A Tribute to the Iconic Action Star

The news of Chuck Norris's passing has left many of us at JoBlo feeling nostalgic and saddened. He was a larger-than-life figure who seemed immortal to those of us who grew up in the eighties and admired his work. As someone born in '81, Chuck Norris was always a prominent figure in my childhood. The first movie of his that I watched was "Firewalker" on Canadian HBO – First Choice, as it was one of the few non-R-rated films of his that aired on TV in the afternoon. Despite not being his best work, it served as an introduction to his filmography.
During the nineties, my interest in karate led me to watch all of Chuck Norris's movies on cable. Channels like Fox and TBS frequently aired his films, including "Missing in Action," "Invasion U.S.A.," "The Delta Force," "Forced Vengeance," "Silent Rage," and more. I also collected his movies from department store bargain bins when they were re-released on inexpensive tapes. While his TV series "Walker: Texas Ranger" was popular at the time, it didn't resonate with me as much as his earlier films.
Despite the cheesiness of many of his movies, there are a few gems in Chuck Norris's filmography that I hold in high regard. In my opinion, "Code of Silence" stands out as his best work. However, everyone has their own favorite Chuck Norris film. Share your thoughts by participating in our poll and let us know which Chuck Norris movie is your favorite!
