Bob Dylan's 2026 Tour: Acoustic Surprises and Song Selections

Bob Dylan kicked off his 2026 tour with a surprise acoustic set at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, Nebraska. The tour is an extension of his Rough and Rowdy Ways tour that started in 2021. Dylan rearranged songs to fit the acoustic style, offering a fresh take on familiar tunes. He also reduced the number of Rough and Rowdy Ways songs in his setlist from nine to six.
The concert began with “I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight” and featured a rare performance of “The Man in the Long Black Coat.” Dylan also played classics like “All Along the Watchtower” and “I Contain Multitudes.” Notable additions to the setlist included “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” and a cover of Bo Diddley’s “I Can Tell,” which were previously performed at Outlaw Festival stops.
A highlight of the night was Dylan’s first-ever live performance of Eddie Cochran’s “Nervous Breakdown.” The tour is set to conclude on May 1 in Abilene, Texas, with additional one-off performances scheduled for the summer. Dylan’s unique acoustic approach and unexpected song choices have kept fans eagerly anticipating each show.
