Edmonton Oilers Lineup Changes: McDavid's Early Exit, New Defensive Pairings, and Line Combinations
The Edmonton Oilers have made changes to their defensive pairings, with Evan Bouchard and Mattias Ekholm no longer playing together. Additionally, Connor McDavid left practice early, and Curtis Lazar filled in on the top line. TSN's Ryan Rishaug reported that McDavid was with trainers but did not appear to be injured. The team's new line combinations include Podkolzin - Lazar - Savoie, Roslovic - RNH - Hyman, Samanski - Dickinson - Kapanen, and Jones - Henrique - Jarventie. On defense, the pairings are Walman - Bouchard, Nurse - Ekholm, Stastney - Murphy, and Emberson.
