McNamara, who currently serves as the head coach of Siena men's basketball, has had a successful coaching career, leading the Saints to the MAAC Championship and a strong showing in the NCAA Tournament. Prior to his head coaching role, McNamara was an assistant coach at Syracuse from 2011 to 2024, contributing to the team's success in multiple NCAA Tournament appearances, including Final Four runs in 2013 and 2016.
