New Twilight Bag Drop Service and Security Lane Upgrades at Liverpool John Lennon Airport

Liverpool John Lennon Airport has introduced a new twilight bag drop service in collaboration with EasyJet, offering passengers a convenient way to check in their hold luggage the evening before their early morning flight. The service is available between 7.30pm and 9pm, allowing travelers to drop off their bags in advance at the airline's check-in desk. This enables passengers to skip the check-in process the next day and head straight to security, providing them with more time to relax in the departures area before their flight. The twilight bag drop service is applicable for flights departing up to 7.30am the following day, and passengers using this service will also receive 60 minutes of free parking in the airport's Drop Off 2 car park.
In addition to the new bag drop service, Liverpool John Lennon Airport is upgrading three of its security lanes to enhance the passenger experience. The airport shared this update on social media platform X, informing travelers about the ongoing improvements that will continue until March. Passengers are advised to allocate extra time for security clearance during this period and are thanked for their patience while the upgrades are being implemented. It is emphasized that passengers must ensure they arrive at their departure gate at the specified boarding time as per their airline's instructions.
