Social Media Influencer Adva Lavie Faces Felony Charges for Burglary Scheme

A model and social media influencer from Los Angeles, known as Adva Lavie or Mia Ventura, has been charged with six felony counts related to burglary. The charges include unauthorized use of personal identifying information, grand theft, and residential burglary. Lavie, who is 28 years old, has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is scheduled for arraignment on April 6. She has been released from custody with an electronic ankle monitor and has been ordered to stay away from the victims.
According to Los Angeles County prosecutors, Lavie is accused of using dating apps to develop relationships with wealthy older men and younger women in various locations, including Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills, between 2023 and 2025. She allegedly posed as a girlfriend and travel companion to gain access to the victims' homes and steal cash, gold, and designer items. If convicted, Lavie could face up to 11 years and eight months in state prison.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department sought the public's help in locating victims in October. A podcast host from Las Vegas claimed to be among the victims. Lavie's legal representation was not immediately clear. The case highlights the risks associated with online interactions and the importance of being cautious when forming relationships with strangers.
