Carolina Matovac, the fiancée of Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin, shared on her Instagram that she is back in Buffalo following her surgery. Matovac faced heart failure during a vacation in France, leading to a heart transplant. Unfortunately, she also lost the couple's unborn baby due to the health scare. Dahlin took a leave of absence from the Sabres in November to support Matovac during her recovery in Sweden. The Sabres, currently leading the Atlantic Division, are on the verge of clinching a playoff spot, making this reunion even more special for the couple. Dahlin, who has been a strong advocate for Buffalo and its fans, now has another reason to celebrate as the team's playoff drought appears to be ending.
