Fred Kogel Extends Contract with Leonine Studios: A Strategic Move for Future Growth and Success

Fred Kogel, the CEO of Leonine Studios, has extended his contract until 2028 in an agreement with the Mediawan Group, Leonine's corporate parent. Kogel has been leading Leonine since its founding in 2019 and played a key role in its evolution into the top independent production and distribution group in German-speaking Europe. Quirin Berg, responsible for the fiction division's content strategy, will become the deputy chairman of the management board on April 1. Jochen Köstler, in charge of non-fiction, will join the management board as chief production officer non-fiction on the same date. The management board also includes Sarah Fischer, Max Wiedemann, and Bernhard zu Castell. Kogel expressed his excitement about continuing Leonine's successful journey with the team and building on their achievements in the future.
