"The Dark Side of the Moon" has been a dominant force in the competition, triumphing over albums by David Bowie, Paul McCartney, and the Rolling Stones. Led Zeppelin's "IV," known for songs like "Stairway to Heaven" and "Black Dog," has also been a strong contender, defeating albums by Elton John, the Eagles, and Fleetwood Mac.
