Nikki Glaser: From Roasting to Hosting and Stand-Up Specials

Nikki Glaser has declined an offer to roast Kevin Hart at a Netflix event hosted by Shane Gillis due to scheduling conflicts. Glaser, known for her roasting skills, expressed her love for the craft but cited a lack of time to dedicate to it. She has previously roasted celebrities like Tom Brady, Rob Lowe, Alec Baldwin, and Bruce Willis.
Despite turning down the roast, Glaser is set to host the Golden Globes for the third time in 2027. She finds the hosting gig fulfilling and challenging, pushing her out of her comfort zone and boosting her self-esteem. Glaser views it as an opportunity to conquer her fears and stay motivated.
Glaser's stand-up special "Good Girl" is set to premiere on Hulu on April 24. She admitted feeling nervous about the release as the material is based on jokes she has honed over the years. The comedian likened performing stand-up to having sex, enjoying the moment but feeling apprehensive about the aftermath.
At the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Glaser expressed her admiration for Taylor Swift but admitted she would be too starstruck to approach her. Despite being a self-proclaimed Swiftie, Glaser preferred to admire the singer from a distance to avoid embarrassing herself. She finds solace in simply sharing the same space as Swift and breathing the same air.
