Texas Man Arrested on Mackinac Bridge for Speeding with Illegal Weapons and Falsified Records
A Texas man, Eric Koroscik, was arrested on the Mackinac Bridge for speeding in a semi-truck and was found to have an active warrant. Michigan State Police (MSP) discovered that he was in possession of illegal weapons without a Concealed Pistol License (CPL) during the traffic stop. Koroscik also had two open containers of alcohol in his possession. Further investigation revealed that he had falsified his electronic logging device (ELD) records. He was arraigned on one count of carrying a concealed weapon in Mackinac County and additional charges are being pursued. The MSP was assisted by the Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office and the St. Ignace Police Department.
