Emma Bunton and Holly Willoughby Attend Disney Launch Event at Disneyland Paris: Spice Girls Reunion Plans Canceled

Emma Bunton recently attended a Disney launch event at Disneyland Paris with her friend Holly Willoughby. The two celebrities were all smiles as they posed for pictures at the press day of Disney Adventure World and World Of Frozen. Emma sported a pair of Mickey Mouse ears and a tie with the famous character on it, looking stylish in a white shirt, straight leg jeans, and a cream wool coat. Holly opted for a black t-shirt, jeans, a black coat, and brown boots, also wearing a set of Disney ears.

The two women have been close friends for years and are often seen socializing with their group of friends, which includes Melanie Blatt and Christine Lampard. Emma's appearance at the Disney event comes after news broke that the Spice Girls' 30th-anniversary reunion has been canceled. The group, consisting of Emma, Mel C, Mel B, Victoria Beckham, and Geri Halliwell-Horner, had been in talks to reunite for a series of concerts to celebrate three decades since their debut single "Wannabe."

Despite ongoing discussions and hopes for a reunion, plans for a comeback tour in 2026 have been scrapped. Mel C confirmed the news during an interview, stating that there is currently no reunion in the works but expressing optimism about the possibility of the Spice Girls performing together in the future. The group's former manager, Simon Fuller, had been involved in discussions, and there were talks of a residency in Las Vegas, but recent developments have led to the cancellation of the reunion plans.

The Spice Girls last performed as a five-piece at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony and reunited without Victoria Beckham in 2019 for a successful stadium tour in the UK and Ireland. Despite the setback of the canceled reunion, fans can still look forward to a collectible coin from the Royal Mint to commemorate the group's anniversary. Plans for a Netflix drama based on the Spice Girls have been put on hold, and tensions within the group have reportedly contributed to the recent developments.
