Cody Ponce's Debut Cut Short by Injury in Toronto Blue Jays Game
Cody Ponce made his debut for the Toronto Blue Jays but had to leave the game early due to an injury. During the third inning, Ponce injured his right leg while chasing a ground ball. Despite the setback, he was able to walk to the medical cart on his own. Ponce had slipped on the mound earlier in the game. Louis Varland took over pitching duties after Ponce's departure.
