Hot Water: A Mother-Son Road Dramedy Set for Theatrical Release in North America
Rich Spirit has acquired the North American rights to Ramzi Bashour's debut feature film, Hot Water, which premiered at the U.S. Dramatic Competition at Sundance earlier this year. The film, a mother-son road dramedy, is set for a theatrical release later this year and will be featured at the First Look festival in New York City in April. The cast includes Lubna Azabal, Daniel Zolghadri, and Dale Dickey, and follows a Lebanese mother and her American son on a journey across the United States, encountering various people and places along the way that test their relationship. Director Bashour expressed excitement about working with Rich Spirit and bringing the film to audiences across North America. The film's producers and executive producers are also credited for their contributions to the project. Rich Spirit's previous acquisition, The Apprentice, received critical acclaim and award nominations following its premiere.
