Rush Pays Tribute to Neil Peart at Juno Awards 2022

Rush kicked off this year's Juno Awards in Canada with a powerful performance of "Finding My Way," the opening track from their debut album. The band, featuring new members drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold, paid tribute to the late Neil Peart, who passed away in 2020. The performance showcased images of the band's career, including Peart, on screens behind them.

Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, the remaining original members of Rush, expressed their difficulty in choosing a song to perform at the Juno Awards. Ultimately, they settled on "Finding My Way" as it was the first song from their first album. Lifeson humorously remarked that it was the only song they knew how to play.

This performance marked the first time Lee and Lifeson had performed as Rush since their final show with Peart in 2015. The duo had previously appeared at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concerts in 2022. Rush has also announced upcoming UK and European shows as part of their Fifty Something tour, set to begin in February 2027.
