Tanner Usrey: Texas Musician Faces Legal Troubles but Continues to Make Waves in the Music Scene

Tanner Usrey, a Texas musician known for his blend of Southern rock and country music, was recently arrested in Collin County, TX. He faces charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and two drug possession charges, one of which involves fentanyl. Usrey has posted bond and is awaiting his court date.

Despite his legal troubles, Tanner Usrey has been a prominent figure in the Texas music scene, gaining national recognition for his energetic performances that fuse Southern and classic rock influences. He signed with Atlantic Records and released two albums, "Crossing Lines" in 2023 and "These Days" in 2025. Originally from Aubrey, TX, Usrey is scheduled to perform at the Fiesta Oyster Bake in San Antonio on April 17th and Larry Joe Taylor's Texas Music Festival on April 23rd.
