BTS Makes History Again: ARIRANG Album Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 and Hot 100
BTS has made history once again with their latest studio album, ARIRANG, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. This marks the group's seventh No. 1 album, with ARIRANG achieving the largest week for an album by equivalent album units among duos or groups. The album's lead track, "Swim," also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it BTS' seventh chart-topper and sixth to debut at the top spot. With this achievement, BTS became the first group to debut an album and song at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 multiple times.
Additionally, on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, BTS made history by claiming the entire top 10 (and top 13) spots simultaneously with songs from ARIRANG, led by "Swim." The group also extended their record for the most No. 1s on the Digital Song Sales Chart among duos or groups, with "Swim" topping the chart. On the World Digital Song Sales chart, "Aliens" secured the top spot, marking BTS' 43rd No. 1 on the chart.
