Introducing Anna Cara: Alice Cooper's New Guitarist for Upcoming Shows

Alice Cooper has announced that British guitarist Anna Cara will be stepping in for Nita Strauss, who is taking a break to welcome her first child. Anna, a 22-year-old guitarist from Newcastle, England, has previously worked with musicians like Marc Storace and Tommy Henriksen. She will be making her debut with Alice at the "Welcome To Our Nightmare" shows in Las Vegas in April, a collaboration with illusionist Criss Angel.
Following her debut, Anna will join Alice on his U.S. "Alice's Attic" tour from April 14 to May 9, and then return to Las Vegas for more shows with Criss Angel from May 22-24. Alice will continue his busy schedule with a European tour from June 13 to July 12 and promises more shows in the fall.
Alice Cooper expressed his excitement about Anna joining the band, praising her as a dynamic guitarist with a unique style. Anna shared her excitement about joining Alice's band, fulfilling a dream she had since she started playing guitar at 14. Nita Strauss, who recommended Anna for the role, expressed her confidence in Anna's talent and is looking forward to returning to the road with an additional member.
Nita Strauss has been playing with Alice Cooper since 2014, replacing Orianthi. She was recommended to Cooper by Kip Winger. The transition to Anna Cara as the temporary guitarist while Nita is on maternity leave has been met with enthusiasm from both the band and fans.
