Russell Dickerson and Brandon Lake: The Unreleased Collaborations

Russell Dickerson and Brandon Lake have been collaborating on three unreleased songs together, trying to decide which one will be officially released. Dickerson mentioned the collaborations during his time in London for C2C Festival 2026, sharing that they are still in the process of choosing the right track. One potential release is a song called "Amazing Place," registered on ASCAP with Dickerson, Lake, Chase McGill, and Parker Welling listed as co-writers.

The collaboration between Dickerson and Lake stemmed from a writers' retreat hosted by Lake earlier this year. The retreat brought together over 25 country artists and songwriters, including Dickerson, Lainey Wilson, Thomas Rhett, Dan + Shay, and Bailey Zimmerman, resulting in nearly 50 songs being written. The first release from the retreat, "Just Believe" with Zimmerman, was released on March 13, with another track, "The Jesus I Know Now," featuring Lainey Wilson, set to be released on Good Friday, April 3.

Dickerson shared how his faith has influenced his music throughout his career, noting that his song "Yours," co-written with Parker Welling and Casey Brown, reached No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart in January 2018. Lake, a six-time GRAMMY Award winner, has been venturing into the country genre through collaborations with various artists.

The outcome of the Dickerson-Lake collaborations is still uncertain, whether it will be released as a standalone single, a duet, or simply a writing credit. The duo is exploring different options to determine the best way to share their music with fans.
