Baker County Wildfire Update: 2,000 Acres Burned Near County Line
A wildfire near the Baker-Ware County line in Florida has expanded to 2,000 acres by 8 a.m. on Friday, as reported by a Florida Forest Service representative. The fire, situated close to Florida State Road 2, is anticipated to affect Waycross and nearby areas, according to the Georgia Forestry Service Commission. Various agencies, including GFC, Florida Forest Service, U.S. Forest Service, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, are actively engaged in combating the fire using both ground and aerial resources.
