Jack White Unveils New Songs and Visual Art Show: A Look into His Creative Vision

Jack White has unveiled two new songs, "G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs" and "Derecho Demonico," ahead of his upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live. "G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs" draws inspiration from Adam and Eve, showcasing White's classic blues guitar skills, while "Derecho Demonico" is a studio version of a track he debuted during his 'No Name' tour in 2025. Both tracks are now available on streaming services and will be released as limited-edition 7” vinyls.
White produced the songs, with backing from his live band members Patrick Keeler, Dominic Davis, and Bobby Emmet. These tracks mark his first new music since his Grammy-nominated 2024 album 'No Name,' which received critical acclaim. White is also set to embark on a European tour later this year, starting in Latvia on May 30 and concluding in Belgium on June 17.
In addition to his musical endeavors, White has been vocal about his opposition to Donald Trump, criticizing the administration's policies and calling for the president's removal from office. He has also faced backlash for his comments on various issues, including Taylor Swift's songwriting style. Despite personal challenges, White continues to push boundaries in his music and artistry.
White's upcoming visual art show, 'These Thoughts May Disappear,' will debut in London this spring at Damien Hirst's Newport Street Gallery. The exhibition will showcase White's creative vision and artistic expression, inviting audiences to explore the depths of his imagination.
