Blue Jays Revamp Bullpen Roster: Little and Estrada Sent Down, Mantiply and Voth Called Up

The Toronto Blue Jays made changes to their bullpen roster by sending Brendon Little and Lazaro Estrada to Triple A and bringing up Joe Mantiply and Austin Voth to the major-league team. Cody Ponce and Anthony Santander were moved to the 60-day Injured List.

Little struggled in his five appearances with two blown saves and two losses, leading to his demotion. Manager John Schneider expressed the need to address Little's ongoing struggles after his poor performance against the White Sox.

Estrada had a solid outing in his only appearance this season, pitching four scoreless innings in relief. Mantiply, a veteran lefty, last pitched in the majors in 2025 and has a career ERA of 4.54. Voth, a righty, last pitched in the majors in 2024 and has a career ERA of 4.70.

The Blue Jays, currently at 4-4, are looking to bounce back from a three-game losing streak as they face the White Sox in the series finale. The team is focused on optimizing their bullpen performance to improve their overall game.
