Kathie Lee Gifford: A Journey of Faith, Family, and Legacy

Kathie Lee Gifford, a renowned TV personality, began her career in soap operas before co-hosting The Morning Show, later renamed Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee. After a successful 15-year run on the show, she joined Today in 2008 to host the fourth hour with Hoda Kotb, known for its light-hearted humor and morning wine sessions. Following the passing of her husband, Frank Gifford, in 2015, she left Today in 2019 to focus on new projects and her role as a grandmother to her five grandchildren.
Despite leaving Today, Gifford still makes occasional appearances on the show. In a surprise reunion with Kotb during her farewell episode in January 2025, Gifford expressed her fondness for her former co-host. She continues to write faith-based books, with her latest release, "Nero and Paul: How the Gospel of Grace Defeated the Ruler of Rome," becoming an Amazon bestseller. Additionally, Gifford has ventured into music, releasing an album titled "The Way" in 2022, featuring songs inspired by biblical stories.
Gifford has been candid about her journey through widowhood and her decision not to remarry. Despite dating after her husband's passing, she believes in cherishing deep and meaningful connections. With a growing family, including five grandchildren, Gifford finds joy in watching her children embrace parenthood. Her daughter Cassidy and son Cody, along with their spouses, have welcomed children, bringing happiness and fulfillment to Gifford's life.
