Ohio's inaugural Buc-ee's store has officially opened in Huber Heights, just north of Dayton along Interstate 70. The grand opening attracted eager customers who lined up early in the morning. The 74,000 square-foot facility boasts 24/7 service, 120 gas pumps, over 700 parking spaces, and 24 electric vehicle charging stations. Governor Mike DeWine is set to welcome Buc-ee's to Ohio with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon. The location at 8000 Ohio 235 is the largest Buc-ee's in the Midwest and is expected to create over 200 jobs in the area.

Buc-ee's Huber Heights offers competitive benefits to its employees, including starting pay above minimum wage, full benefits, a 6% matching 401k, and three weeks of paid vacation. The store is renowned for its clean restrooms, fresh-smoked brisket, beef jerky, Beaver Nuggets, and homemade fudge. Customers can also find a wide selection of Beaver icon-branded merchandise at the store. Another Buc-ee's location is planned for the Mansfield area off I-71, expanding the reach of the popular convenience store chain in Ohio.

For those in the Cincinnati area, the nearest Buc-ee's is located about 65 miles away in Richmond, Kentucky, off I-75. While there are no Buc-ee's stores in Indiana currently, the company is eyeing its first location in Greenwood, off I-65 just south of Indianapolis.
