Darius Rucker is set to embark on a 20-date U.S. tour called the “Songs of Summer Tour” in 2026. The tour kicks off on June 4 in Toledo and includes stops in cities like Bethel, Atlantic City, Gilford, Greensboro, Grand Rapids, Cincinnati, Washington, D.C., Boston, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Kansas City, and more, concluding on August 1 in Indianapolis. Special guests such as Lauren Alaina, George Birge, Evan Honer, Old Crow Medicine Show, Robert Randolph, and Austin Williams will join him on select dates.
Rucker expressed his excitement for the tour, stating that outdoor concerts in the summer are a special experience for him. He emphasized the joy of being surrounded by fans, performing hit songs, and feeling the summer air. The “Songs of Summer” tour is his way of capturing that shared moment with the audience.
Before the summer tour, Rucker will headline a Big Band Gala on April 7 at the Gaillard Center in Charleston, accompanied by the Charleston Jazz Orchestra led by Peter Graves. The event aims to support music education programs in Charleston County Schools and the Carolyn G. Rucker Nursing Scholarship at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.
