Milwaukee Bucks Guard Kevin Porter Jr. Undergoes Second Knee Surgery, Ending Season
Milwaukee Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr. underwent a second surgery on his right knee, officially putting an end to his season. The arthroscopic procedure was conducted by Dr. Thom Hackett at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. Porter had been sidelined since March 19 due to inflammation in his knee, which had also caused him to miss games earlier in March. This surgery marked the second time he had to undergo a procedure on his knee, with the first one being for a torn meniscus in November. Porter, who will soon turn 26, had a challenging season, playing only 38 games due to various injuries, including an ankle injury and knee issues, as well as an oblique strain. Despite his setbacks, he managed to average 17.4 points and 7.4 assists, achieving several double-doubles and even triple-doubles. Porter holds a player option for the next season worth $5.3 million.
