Slayyyter's 'Wor$t Girl in America' Album: A Billboard Chart-Topping Success Story

Slayyyter's latest album, Wor$t Girl in America, has achieved significant success on Billboard's charts, debuting at No. 1 on the Top Dance Albums chart and No. 22 on the Billboard 200. The album garnered 27,000 equivalent album units in its first week, with 16,000 in album sales, securing a No. 7 position on the Top Album Sales chart. Several tracks from the album, including "Yes Goddd" and "Crank," made their debut on the Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart, with "Dance..." reentering at No. 15.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Slayyyter revealed that she contemplated quitting music before creating the album. Despite feeling hopeless, she rediscovered her passion for music during the process and ultimately signed with Columbia for the project. This newfound inspiration led to the creation of a project that fulfilled her creatively and reignited her love for making music.
Slayyyter had previously made her mark on the charts in 2023 with her second LP, Starf–ker, which reached No. 10 on Top Dance Albums and No. 46 on Top Album Sales, marking her initial appearances on the Billboard charts. Looking ahead, Slayyyter is gearing up for her Coachella debut and her first performance at Governors Ball, followed by her headlining Wor$t Girl in the World Tour starting in September, with tour dates scheduled across North America, South America, and Europe.
