The popular period drama "Bridgerton" has announced three new cast members for its upcoming fifth season. Tega Alexander will play Christopher Anderson, the son of Lord Marcus Anderson, described as a Regency-era Casanova with a hidden self-doubt. Jacqueline Boatswain will portray Helen, Michaela Stirling's mother, while Gemma Knight Jones will play Lady Elizabeth Ashworth, a mentor to Michaela in London society.
Netflix recently released a teaser for the fifth season of "Bridgerton," which focuses on Francesca Bridgerton, the introverted middle daughter. The season will explore Francesca's decision to reenter the marriage market after losing her husband, John, and her complicated feelings when John's cousin, Michaela, returns to London.
