Rangers Player Dujon Sterling Granted Permission to Resume Driving Despite Drink Driving Charges

Rangers player Dujon Sterling has been granted permission to resume driving despite facing charges of drink driving in court. The 27-year-old appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court where he was accused of driving dangerously in the city center on January 4, 2026. Sterling allegedly drove at excessive speeds, failed to use indicators, and overtook vehicles unsafely, resulting in damage to a barrier and his car. He was also found to have exceeded the legal alcohol limit while behind the wheel. Sterling, who played in a match against Celtic the day before his court appearance, did not enter a plea and was represented by his lawyer Michael Lyon. The court granted him bail on standard conditions, including a prohibition on driving until his next hearing in May.
