Seeking Justice: Matthew Perry's Family Calls for Maximum Sentence for Ketamine Dealer
Matthew Perry's family is seeking the maximum sentence for the drug dealer responsible for supplying the fatal dose of ketamine that led to the actor's death. Debbie Perry, Matthew's stepmother, expressed the irreversible pain caused by his death in a victim impact statement submitted to the court. In a separate case, Salvador Plasencia, a doctor, was sentenced to two-and-a-half years for illegally supplying ketamine to Perry. Another doctor, Mark Chavez, received eight months of home confinement for his involvement in the fatal overdose. Erik Fleming, an associate of Perry, is awaiting sentencing. Perry's battle with addiction, which began during his time on Friends, has been well-documented, highlighting the challenges he faced throughout his life.
