61st Annual ACM Awards Nominations: Women Dominate with Megan Moroney Leading the Pack
The upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards nominees are dominated by women this year. Megan Moroney leads with nine nominations, including her first for Entertainer of the Year. Miranda Lambert, a seasoned artist, follows with eight nominations, while Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson each have seven. Among the male artists, Chris Stapleton leads with six nominations, followed by Zach Top with five and Cody Johnson with four. The categories for the awards include Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Group of the Year, Duo of the Year, New Female Artist of the Year, New Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Single of the Year, Music Event of the Year, Visual Media of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. The winners of the 61st annual ACM Awards will be announced on May 17 in Las Vegas.
