Texas Tech Parking Information for George Strait Concerts and Baseball Series Against Oklahoma State
Texas Tech has released parking information for the upcoming George Strait concerts and baseball series against Oklahoma State on April 24-25. The concerts will feature Dylan Gossett, Zach Top, Hudson Westbrook, and Miranda Lambert as opening acts. Tickets for both shows are available for purchase. Concert attendees are advised to buy parking in advance and arrive early to avoid travel issues. Parking is general admission, with lots opening at 2:30 p.m. each day, and stadium gates opening at 4:15 p.m.
Mobile parking passes will be used for satellite and United Supermarkets Arena lots, while physical parking permits will be distributed for other concert lots. Tailgating is not allowed in any parking lot, and RVs are not permitted on campus lots. Memorial Circle will be the official rideshare pick-up and drop-off location, with attendees directed to Jones AT&T Stadium through the Engineering Key. The Clear Bag Policy and Evolv Express weapons detection system will be in effect for the concerts.
Texas Tech will also host Oklahoma State in a three-game Big 12 baseball series at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park with a 1 p.m. start each day. Season ticket holders with specific parking passes will experience no changes, while others will be relocated to satellite lots with shuttle service. Baseball ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early to avoid parking issues.
The Texas Tech Club in the East Stadium Building will close temporarily due to limited parking availability during the concert setup. The athletics department will remain open with restricted access to the Ed Whitacre Center for Athletics Administration. The Athletic Ticket Office will maintain normal operating hours and can be contacted for any event-related questions.
