The Indiana Fever Performance Center, a $78 million facility near Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis, is set to become the largest training hub in the WNBA upon its completion in 2027. Designed by Populous and constructed by Shiel Sexton, the 108,000-square-foot center will feature a spa-like interior design that caters to the needs of women's professional sports teams.
The first floor of the facility will offer fan-facing elements, such as a public lobby with the Hall of Excellence showcasing the Fever's franchise history and a team merchandise store. The basketball and athlete-focused areas will include two practice courts, strength and conditioning spaces, sports medicine and rehabilitation facilities, and a recovery suite with hydrotherapy pools, infrared sauna, red light therapy, and massage rooms.
The Hub will serve as a gathering space for players and staff, while a luxury player locker room with individual player studios will provide space for preparation, recovery, and personal expression. Additionally, the center will feature a full-service kitchen with a chef-driven nutrition program, a nutrition and smoothie bar, indoor and outdoor dining spaces, a content production studio, podcast room, player nail, hair, and makeup salon, a golf simulator, and dedicated childcare facilities.
