61st Academy of Country Music Awards Nominees: Female Artists Lead the Pack

The 61st Academy of Country Music Awards nominees have been announced, with female artists leading the pack. Megan Moroney received nine nominations, closely followed by Miranda Lambert with eight. Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson also garnered seven nods each, showcasing the strong presence of women in country music this year. On the male side, Chris Stapleton leads with six nominations, followed by Zach Top with five and Cody Johnson with four.
The Entertainer of the Year category features a star-studded lineup, including Moroney, Wilson, Stapleton, Johnson, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, and Morgan Wallen. Wilson, last year's winner, is once again in the running.
Several artists received their first ACM nominations, such as 49 Winchester, Avery Anna, Mackenzie Carpenter, Carter Faith, Caroline Jones, Vincent Mason, Emily Ann Roberts, Thelma & James, Hudson Westbrook, and Stephen Wilson Jr.
The ceremony will showcase performances from top country acts like Lambert, Johnson, Wilson, Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town, and Riley Green. Musgraves will debut new music from her upcoming album, Wilson will perform “Can’t Sit Still,” and Green will sing “Change My Mind.” ACM Awards week in Las Vegas will feature fan events and live shows throughout the city, creating a weekend full of country music celebrations.
The awards show will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17, airing live at 8 p.m. ET on Prime Video. Viewers can also watch on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and the Amazon Music app.
