Shakey Graves Live in Santa Fe: A Preview of His Upcoming Album 'Fondness, Etc.
Shakey Graves, the stage name of Alejandro Rose-Garcia, is set to perform in Santa Fe at the Lensic ahead of the release of his upcoming album, Fondness, Etc. Hailing from Austin, Texas, Graves made a name for himself in the Americana music scene with his distinctive blend of roots and acoustic music, often performing with just a guitar and a suitcase drum kit. After the release of his more experimental album, Movie of the Week, in 2023, Graves is returning with a new album that combines elements of his early work with a forward-thinking approach. He will be gracing Santa Fe with a solo performance at the Lensic Performing Arts Center on April 17, a city he holds dear. Graves recorded much of his new album at his home outside of Austin, adding a personal touch to the music.
