Highlights from the 50th Hong Kong International Film Festival: Celebrating Youth, Culture, and Memory
Kangdrun's film "Linka Linka" was honored with the Firebird Award for the Young Cinema Competition (Chinese Language) and the Fipresci Prize at the 50th Hong Kong International Film Festival. The documentary competition Firebird was awarded to "Past Future Continuous" for its portrayal of exiled individuals, while "The Ground Beneath Our Feet" received the documentary jury prize for its depiction of life in Iceland's oldest retirement home.
