Inside the World of Marshals: Arielle Kebbel's Journey in the Yellowstone Universe

Arielle Kebbel, star of the show Marshals, shared that she has not yet met Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone. Despite being part of the Yellowstone universe, Kebbel joked that Sheridan is like the "man behind the curtain" and is always busy. Marshals, a spinoff of Yellowstone, has Taylor's blessing and is produced by 101 Studios, with Spencer Hudnut as the show creator. The show merges the world of Yellowstone with new storylines created by Hudnut.
Apart from Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan has created other shows like Landman, Mayor of Kingstown, Lioness, and Tulsa King. In 2025, Sheridan signed a major deal with NBCUniversal, starting in 2029 after his TV deal with Paramount ends. Paramount will retain the rights to Yellowstone and other franchises created under Sheridan's deal. Sheridan emphasized the importance of not compromising on his storytelling vision and praised Paramount for supporting his creative process.
Sheridan's approach to storytelling involves treating TV episodes like movies, with the freedom to explore new locations and characters. Marshals, part of the Yellowstone universe, airs on CBS on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET. Despite not having met Sheridan yet, Kebbel is excited to be part of the world he created and looks forward to the future of Marshals.
