Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black made an appearance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas to unveil the first footage of the upcoming film, Jumanji 3, now titled Jumanji: Open World. The stars expressed their excitement about returning for another Jumanji installment, with Black calling it his favorite film to work on. The trailer showcased the characters in the real world as video game avatars stuck in demo mode, hinting at a new adventure.
The new Jumanji film pays tribute to the original 1995 movie starring Robin Williams by incorporating one of the dice used in that film. Directed by Jake Kasdan, who also helmed the previous Jumanji movies, the third installment is set to hit theaters on December 25. The star-studded cast includes Nick Jonas, Morgan Turner, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Lamorne Morris, and Danny DeVito.
Following the success of 2017's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and its 2019 sequel, The Next Level, the franchise continues to captivate audiences with its unique blend of action and comedy. The upcoming film promises to deliver another thrilling adventure as the characters navigate the challenges of the Jumanji world. Stay tuned for more updates on Jumanji: Open World as the release date approaches.
