Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2026 Inductees: Phil Collins, Iron Maiden, Oasis, and More!

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced the inductees for 2026, including Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Sade, Luther Vandross, and Wu-Tang Clan in the Performer category. Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, and Gram Parsons will receive the Early Influence Award, while Linda Creed, Arif Mardin, Jimmy Miller, and Rick Rubin will be honored with the Musical Excellence Award. Ed Sullivan will be given the Ahmet Ertegun Award. The ceremony will be held on November 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on ABC and Disney+ the following month.

Phil Collins, who was previously inducted as a member of Genesis in 2010, is now being recognized as a solo artist. Iron Maiden, after three nominations, expressed gratitude for the honor and emphasized their connection with their fans. Oasis and Iron Maiden have both been critical of the Hall of Fame in the past, but their induction marks a change in tune. The attendance of some inductees, such as Sade and Joy Division/New Order, remains uncertain due to their reclusive nature and internal band dynamics.

The induction ceremony will be held in Los Angeles for the second consecutive year, deviating from the usual rotation between New York City, Cleveland, and Los Angeles. The event is set to return to Cleveland in 2027. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame continues to celebrate and honor the contributions of iconic musicians and industry figures, showcasing the diverse and influential history of rock and roll music.
