Willie Nelson's Intimate Outlaw Music Festival 2026: A Limited Run of Unforgettable Performances

Willie Nelson is set to revive his Outlaw Music Festival in the summer of 2026, but with a more intimate approach. The festival, now in its 11th year, will visit only 12 cities, a significant decrease from the previous year's 35-city tour. This limited run aims to provide fans with a unique and special experience at each performance, focusing on quality over quantity.
Headlined by Nelson & Family, the lineup includes renowned artists such as The Avett Brothers, Sheryl Crow, Wilco, Lukas Nelson, and Stephen Wilson Jr.. While not every act will be present at every show, Wilson Jr. is slated for most of the tour, with other artists rotating throughout the performances. Special guests like Margo Price, Sierra Hull, Robert Randolph, Don Was with the Pan-Detroit Ensemble, and Lily Meola will also join on select dates.
The tour will kick off on July 3 in Irving, Texas, with initial dates in Texas before resuming in mid-August in Maryland Heights, Missouri. It will then travel through the Midwest and Northeast, concluding on August 30 in Saratoga Springs, New York. Unlike previous years, the tour will not extend to the West Coast, offering a more concentrated experience for fans.
Looking ahead to the upcoming shows, Nelson expressed his excitement, stating, "Being on the road and performing for the fans is my passion. With fewer shows on the schedule, each night holds special significance. I can't wait to connect with everyone and create memorable moments together." Tickets for the festival are available for purchase on Outlawmusicfestival.com.
