2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees: Phil Collins, Vandross, Wu-Tang Clan, and More!
The 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees have been announced, featuring eight performers who have made a significant impact on the music industry. Among the inductees is Phil Collins, recognized for his solo work in addition to his contributions as a member of Genesis. Other first-time inductees include Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan, while artists like Oasis, Iron Maiden, and Joy Division/New Order required multiple attempts before being honored. This year saw a record number of seventeen nominees, with notable omissions such as the Black Crowes, Mariah Carey, and Lauryn Hill.
In addition to the performers, ten individuals have been recognized in various categories. The Early Influences category includes Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, and Gram Parsons. The Musical Excellence Award recipients are Linda Creed, Arif Mardin, Jimmy Miller, and Rick Rubin. The Ahmet Ertegun Award will be presented to Ed Sullivan for his contributions to the music industry.
