Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise Grace CinemaCon 2026 Stage with Separate Projects
Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise attended CinemaCon 2026 at The Dolby Colosseum in Las Vegas to promote their upcoming projects. Despite being at the same event, the former couple managed to avoid any awkward encounters. Both stars chose to wear all-black outfits, with Cruise in a classic black suit and Kidman in a sleek silk dress paired with black pumps. They did not interact directly and focused on their individual appearances on stage.
Cruise presented a first look at his upcoming dark comedy Digger, where he plays oil tycoon Digger Rockwell. Kidman, on the other hand, reunited with Sandra Bullock to showcase footage from the sequel to Practical Magic, directed by Susanne Bier and set for release on September 11. The former spouses, who were married from 1990 to 2001, did not pose together for photographs and kept the attention on their respective projects.
Kidman and Cruise have two adopted children from their marriage. Kidman once joked about being able to wear heels after their divorce and later reflected on that challenging time in her life. Despite their past, both actors focused on their work at CinemaCon, highlighting their upcoming films and avoiding any public displays as a former couple.
