Camillus Basketball Coach Arrested on Sex Crimes Charges: Chad R. Snow Faces Felonies and Misdemeanors
A basketball coach in Camillus, N.Y., has been arrested by the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office on charges related to sex crimes against children. Chad R. Snow, 42, is facing charges of promoting a sexual performance by a child and possession of a sexual performance of a child, both of which are felonies. Additionally, he is charged with misdemeanors for obscenity and endangering the welfare of a child. The investigation began after reports that Snow had AI-generated pornographic images of females he knew, some as young as 14 years old.
The sheriff's office discovered the AI images on Snow's device, including a pornographic image of a 14-year-old who was 12 when the photo was taken. Snow is associated with Snow Basketball Arts, where he works as a coach, consultant, and trainer. The facility's website states that Snow has over 20 years of experience and trains youth and players at various levels both on and off the court.
