At 87 years old, Golden remains active in his music career, leading a family band called William Lee Golden and the Goldens that focuses on traditional country and gospel music. Despite initial plans to retire in 2024, the Oak Ridge Boys decided to continue their musical journey, releasing a new album and embarking on a busy schedule of tour dates in 2025. Duane Allen expressed his commitment to the group, stating that there is no set end date in sight for the Oak Ridge Boys, emphasizing their love for music, fans, and each other.
