High-Speed Pursuit of Stolen Work Truck in Northern Los Angeles Area
Law enforcement officers are currently pursuing a driver who is evading them in a stolen work truck on freeways in the northern Los Angeles area. The stolen pickup truck was seen carrying traffic signs and orange road markers in its bed, along with a message board mounted on the roof, all of which appeared to belong to Traffic Management based on the logos on the truck's doors. The theft of the truck occurred around 9:30 a.m. near Western and Franklin avenues in Hollywood. The pursuit initially took place on the 5 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley before heading northward onto the 14 Freeway towards the Santa Clarita area.
