Shania Twain's Opening Act: A Chance of a Lifetime on The Late Late Show

This Friday's Late Late Show will feature a special opportunity for one Irish performer to share the stage with a country music legend. Five finalists will showcase their talent in hopes of being selected as Ireland's Opening Act and performing alongside Shania Twain at Thomond Park on 7 July. The chosen act will also have the chance to perform on the Late Late Show Country Music Special in October. A panel of industry veterans, including Una Healy, Sandy Kelly, Ben Earle, and Tom Dunne, will provide feedback on the performances, with the final decision being made by two juries of industry professionals and country music experts. Viewers at home will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite act during the show, presented by Cliona Hagan. The finalists include Paddy Treacy, Jesse Sludd, Caitlin Mackin, Midnight in Vegas, and Ryan Phoenix. Additionally, the show will pay tribute to the late Moya Brennan from Clannad and feature a live performance by The Shires. Don't miss The Late Late Show Opening Act on Friday 17 April at 9:35pm on RTÉ One.
