Christophe Pinard-Legry Appointed Chief Executive of Canal+ Europe: Strengthening Leadership in European Markets
Canal+ has announced the appointment of Christophe Pinard-Legry as the new chief executive of Canal+ Europe, in addition to his current role as chief executive of Canal+ France overseeing business activities. Pinard-Legry will now also be a part of the Canal+ Management Board, led by Maxime Saada. His responsibilities will include managing the group's subsidiaries and coordinating Canal+ operations throughout Europe to solidify its presence in the region.
Canal+ Europe operates in 10 European countries and 11 overseas territories, boasting over 18 million subscribers. The division encompasses Canal+ France, Canal+ Overseas, Canal+ Benelux & Central Europe, and Canal+ Poland. Pinard-Legry joined Canal+ in 2016 as the commercial director for France and has since held various senior positions in marketing, sales, and customer service before taking on the role of chief executive of Canal+ France in 2022.
Prior to his tenure at Canal+, Pinard-Legry worked at SFR Business and held several key positions at SFR, including marketing director and commercial director. This appointment reinforces Canal+'s leadership team in Europe as the company continues to streamline its operations across diverse markets.
