Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen's Tense Text Exchange: A Look into Their Recent Domestic Dispute

Newly released text messages between Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen reveal a tense exchange following their alleged altercation. A police report from the Draper City Police Department included photos of injuries from both Paul, 31, and Mortensen, 33, related to their recent domestic disputes. Text messages exchanged between the former couple were also submitted as evidence.
On February 22, Mortensen inquired about Paul's therapy session, but Paul later informed him of her broken nose and bleeding. Mortensen then made a request for sex, which Paul vehemently rejected, leading to a heated argument between the two.
The situation escalated as Mortensen accused Paul of abuse, prompting a response from Paul. The conflict between the two eventually led to a pause in filming for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and the removal of Paul's season of The Bachelorette by ABC due to a prior domestic incident.
Following the incident, both Mortensen and Paul filed temporary restraining orders against each other. Mortensen was granted temporary full custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever, while Paul was allowed supervised visits with him. The case is set for a protective hearing on April 30 to reassess the custody arrangement.
Despite the legal actions taken, Paul will not face charges in connection with the dispute with Mortensen. The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office declined to file charges against Paul after reviewing reports and evidence submitted by the police departments involved.
Paul expressed her relief and gratitude upon learning that she would not be charged, emphasizing the emotional impact of the situation. The reality star, who has children from a previous marriage, shared her emotional response to the news of the decision.
