Abbotsford Musicians Shine at the 2026 BC Country Music Awards
The upcoming BC Country Music Awards (BCCMAs) are set to be a significant event for Abbotsford musicians, with three local talents receiving a total of seven nominations. Among them is Morgan Griffiths, a rising star in the country music scene who gained recognition with his debut single, "Bourbon," which reached number four on the Billboard Canada Country chart. Griffiths has garnered five BCCMA nominations, including Male Artist of the Year, showcasing his rapid success in the industry.
In addition to Griffiths, Simon Clow, another newcomer to the B.C. country music scene, has been nominated for Album of the Year for his debut album, "Gravel and Smoke."
